Our Story

My name is Jason Henson, and I founded Nature’s Therapy CBD. I want to share my health journey and how it led to starting my own all-natural herbal company. I am a type 1 diabetic with peripheral neuropathy, autonomic neuropathy, arthritis, fibromyalgia, gastroparesis (paralyzed stomach), insomnia, seizures, restless hands & legs syndrome, and several herniated disks. Pain can affect every part of your life, and I am no stranger to what a disease can do to your quality of life.

My daily struggle with symptoms includes uncontrollable vomiting, debilitating stomach pain, nausea, sleepless nights, nerve issues, dizzy spells, and seizures. The vomiting episodes were persistent and aggravated the Vagus Nerve sending me to the E.R. to relieve the intensity of the pain and nausea. These symptoms became life-changing, as I had to relearn how to breathe and talk using different muscles and techniques without upsetting my stomach. I lost the ability to work because of my symptoms which became exceedingly difficult to accept. My prescriptions alone would cost more than my monthly mortgage, causing financial anxiety and stress. I needed help with the simplest of tasks, and that is when my mental health started to decline. Depression set in with the feelings of being a burden and worthless, leading to self-doubt and losing hope.

I realized that something needed to change. I started researching various all-natural therapies, diets, herbs & essential oils, aromatherapy, chiropractic, massage therapy, acupuncture, nerve stimulators, learning mindful thinking, mind-over-matter techniques, and meditation. Some of these helped, but maintaining real progress on a limited budget took a lot of work. My passion for this research turned into a purpose. I spent years researching, going to expos, speaking with scientists/chemists/herbalists, reading books, and taking online classes at the Herbal Academy and many other sources. I started to learn how to formulate my own creations, such as herbal tinctures, oils, edibles, salves, balms, and ointments.

I tried many different hemp (CBD) products at various doses and began to feel a positive difference in my daily quality of life. After many years of trial and error with creating these herbal remedies, they were starting to be effective, to my amazement. I began to share them with family, friends, and other patients who shared similar issues and received positive feedback. I continued to formulate until they exclaimed it was a product they deemed essential to their wellbeing and wanted to share with their friends and family. I am humbled that my new purpose has become a promising new future, but the heartfelt thanks fueled me. People who tried Nature’s Therapy products would share their heartbreaking stories of day-to-day suffering and how my formulas gave them relief and a little hope back that I once had lost too.

I feel impassioned to suggest that you get lab reports on all hemp products you purchase to verify the amount of CBD listed on their labels is correct and safe from toxins. This is the only way to protect yourself from buying an inferior product, including one that might be toxic. You would be surprised how many products are mislabeled with incorrect amounts of CBD or none at all. I was amazed at how many of these CBD companies could make such outrageous health claims of curing people of various illnesses and taking advantage of vulnerable, sick people. These outrageous health claims and the heartfelt thanks took my new passion from a hobby to a new purpose of creating a business.

The last thing I want to do is create false hope. CBD is not the one-and-be-all to your illnesses (ailments) nor a miracle cure. However, like many botanicals (plants & herbs), CBD/hemp may offer some of the most potential health & wellness benefits from Mother Nature. I hope you, too, have effective results in your daily quality of life.
